Market

Granted a Royal Charter in 1219 and still going strong....

Ampthill Charter Market trades every Thursday in part of the town centre car park (near Waitrose) from 8.00am.

There is plenty on offer from seasonal plants, wild bird seed, household wares, greeting cards, home baked cakes and biscuits, preserves, fresh fruit and vegetables, olives, cheese, fresh fish, award winning baked bread, cakes, pastries to crafts and jewellery and not forgetting our wonderful bric-a-brac stall with new items every week.

If you are interested in becoming a market trader you will have to provide your own equipment and hold public liability insurance.
