Meetings of the Council

(Minutes of the Finance, Parks and Planning Committees are subject to approval by the Full Council, therefore, minutes of these meetings are only made available once they have been approved by the full town council meetings.) Also minutes of those committees are subject to amendment at the full town council meeting.

Finance, Policy & General Purposes Committee

2009 Meetings: 7 January, 4 March, 6 May, 1 July, 2 September, 4 November.

2010 Meetings: 6 January, 3 March, 5 May.

Parks Committee

2009 Meetings: 4 February, 1 April, 3 June, 7 October, 2 December.

2010 Meetings: 3 February, 7 April.

Planning Committee (meetings called as and when necessary)

2009 Meetings: 6 January, 23 February, 16 March, 31 March, 27 May, 3 June, 17 June, 8 July, 23 September, 9 November.

2010 Meetings: 5 January, 16 February, 14 April, 4 May

All the above meetings usually begin at 7.30 pm, unless otherwise stated, include a period of public participation and are held at the Council Chambers, 66 Dunstable Street, Ampthill, Bedford, MK45 2JS.

Following an agenda being published if you wish to register to speak at that meeting you have to do so by 10am on the day of the meeting. Each speak has a maximum of 3 minutes to speak and up to 5 speakers are permitted.

All meetings of the Council are open to the public and press (unless otherwise indicated) and agendas are posted on the Council's notice board.
