Dog Walking in Ampthill Park
Friday, 16 October 2009 15:15

Ampthill Park is a favourite spot for many dog walkers and we offer the following advice to people visiting the Park with their dogs.

Please be aware that Ampthill Park is a Country Park which can attract a variety of wildlife, especially in the wooded areas, which may be breeding all year long (including MUNTJAC DEER - when deer have young they will protect them as would any species).

Therefore, the Town Council would respectfully request that dogs and children are kept under close control at all times. This is to protect both dogs and children and leave the wildlife undisturbed.

Also please make sure that your dog is on a lead whilst in the car parks.

Thank you.
